In this document, “Carentright”, “CarRentRight”, “CRR”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to Carentright OÜ.

2. Purpose of This Declaration

This declaration applies to evidence you submit for the free assessment of your car-rental case and, if you choose to continue, for the paid service under the Service Agreement.

It explains how to provide relevant, genuine materials, identify disputed information and correct mistakes. Uploading evidence does not order the paid service or create a payment obligation.

Its purpose is to support:

  • an accurate account of your case;
  • a fair assessment by CRR;
  • the integrity and context of the evidence;
  • reliable preparation of your case materials and correspondence;
  • and appropriate handling of personal information.

It does not authorize CRR to contact the rental company, negotiate a settlement, refer your case to a lawyer or represent you. Uploading and accepting this declaration do not replace the later Service Agreement.

3. Evidence Covered by This Declaration

Submit only materials relevant to your case. Examples include:

  • rental agreements;
  • booking confirmations;
  • invoices;
  • receipts;
  • payment records showing the disputed transaction, with unnecessary card or account details redacted;
  • deposit records;
  • damage notices;
  • cancellation notices;
  • emails with the rental company;
  • chat messages;
  • photos;
  • screenshots;
  • insurance documents;
  • replacement rental receipts;
  • prior correspondence about your rental issue;
  • other relevant materials that the platform allows you to submit.

4. Your Responsibility for Uploaded Evidence

By uploading evidence, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge:

  • the materials are genuine originals or faithful copies, with any redactions, edits or reconstructions clearly identified;
  • your own factual statements are accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you distinguish facts from assumptions or estimates;
  • the materials relate to your case;
  • you have not fabricated evidence or altered its meaning to mislead;
  • you identify information in another party’s document that you dispute or cannot verify;
  • you are entitled to share the materials for this purpose;
  • you understand that CRR uses them when assessing and preparing your case.

You are not confirming that a rental company’s disputed invoice, allegation or account is true merely by uploading it. Explain what you challenge. Tell us promptly if you discover an error or material omission in what you have supplied.

5. No False or Misleading Evidence

You must not knowingly submit misleading evidence, including:

  • forged documents;
  • screenshots edited to change their meaning or conceal material context;
  • false invoices;
  • unrelated documents presented as evidence of your case;
  • another person’s records that you are not entitled to share;
  • misleading excerpts that omit important context;
  • invented facts or AI-generated material presented as an original record of events.

If there is a reasonable concern about accuracy, authenticity or completeness, CRR may take proportionate steps:

  • ask you to explain an inconsistency;
  • ask for a clearer copy, original or missing context;
  • pause the affected assessment or work while the issue is reviewed;
  • decline to rely on unreliable material;
  • decline or close a case that cannot reasonably be assessed or supported;
  • explain the concern and give you a reasonable opportunity to clarify or correct it, where practicable;
  • apply the Service Agreement and applicable law to any paid-service cancellation or refund; this declaration creates no automatic fee forfeiture.

6. Completeness and Context

Provide enough context to understand the relevant events, including material information that may weaken your position. If something is unavailable or uncertain, say so rather than guessing.

For example:

  • if you upload an invoice, include all relevant pages;
  • if you upload an email chain, include the relevant context;
  • if you upload a screenshot, avoid cropping out information that changes the meaning;
  • if you upload photos, include enough context to show what they relate to.

Keep your original files and records. Use clearly identified copies for highlighting, annotations or privacy redactions, and do not remove information necessary to understand the case. CRR may ask for clarification or additional relevant evidence.

7. Evidence Review by CRR

CRR may review uploaded evidence to:

  • assess whether the case is ready for review;
  • identify missing documents;
  • identify inconsistencies and disputed facts;
  • prepare the free assessment for human review;
  • after paid-service acceptance and confirmed payment, prepare your case materials, correspondence and included support under the Service Agreement;
  • determine what further information or service is appropriate.

Receiving or reviewing a file does not certify its authenticity or establish that the outcome you seek is justified. CRR remains responsible for performing its own service with the care required by the Service Agreement and applicable law.

CRR reviews uploaded evidence separately from the online assessment chat. The chat sends text you type or paste, including document extracts, to Anthropic; the current chat integration does not send uploaded files. AI-assisted material used by CRR remains subject to the Privacy Policy and human review. Your case depends on the facts, evidence, applicable rules and the rental company’s response; no outcome is guaranteed.

8. Use of Evidence in Later Stages

CRR may use relevant evidence to assess your request and, if you accept the single Service Agreement after assessment and payment is confirmed, deliver the agreed paid service. Any applicable early-start requirements must also be met.

This may include use for:

  • the free assessment;
  • paid case-building work and evidence organization;
  • drafting correspondence for you to review and send yourself;
  • included support with replies and possible out-of-court resolution;
  • internal case review;
  • case and dashboard updates;
  • supporting your review of relevant correspondence before you send it.

For this pilot, you review and send prepared correspondence yourself. This declaration and payment do not authorize CRR to contact the rental company, settle your case, accept money for you or provide legal representation.

This declaration gives no permission to publish your evidence or use it for general AI-model training. Any other processing must have its own applicable legal basis and notice, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

9. Upload Later

If you submit evidence later through your case dashboard, the same responsibilities apply to those submissions.

A case may remain incomplete until the information needed for a meaningful assessment is supplied. We may ask for documents relevant to your issue, such as a rental agreement or booking confirmation and, where you dispute a charge, proof of that charge. If a relevant document is unavailable, tell us what alternatives you can provide.

Submitting later documents does not change the agreed fee or authorize additional paid services. Any change to the contracted scope requires your agreement.

10. File Integrity and Storage

CRR stores submitted files and associated information needed to manage the case, subject to the Privacy Policy. Associated information may include:

  • file name;
  • file type;
  • file size;
  • upload timestamp;
  • user or session ID;
  • document category;
  • your explanation of the source, context and any alterations;
  • related case ID.

These records help link evidence to the right case and document the assessment. They do not establish that a document is authentic or complete.

Retention and deletion follow the Privacy Policy and applicable obligations. This declaration does not extend those periods. Keep your own copies; CRR is not a permanent archive for your originals.

11. Personal and Third-Party Information

Uploaded evidence may contain personal data about you or third parties.

Remove unnecessary personal information. Do not submit passwords, security codes or full payment-card details. Do not upload identity documents unless specifically needed for your case and requested by CRR. If health or other sensitive information is genuinely relevant, contact CRR before uploading it so the appropriate handling can be explained.

Share third-party information only when relevant and you are entitled to do so. You are not required by this declaration to obtain blanket consent from everyone mentioned in ordinary case correspondence. Do not disclose unrelated private records or information obtained unlawfully.

CRR remains responsible for its own lawful processing and may redact, restrict or decline unnecessary information. Acceptance is not blanket data-processing consent or a waiver of anyone’s data rights. Privacy requests and case or evidence corrections: support@carentright.com.

12. Translations and Language

If documents are in a language different from the working language of the case, CRR may request clarification, translation, or summary.

Label a translation, summary, transcript or OCR extraction as such, identify machine assistance where used, and supply the original where available. Explain any uncertainty or suspected error.

CRR may use these aids for assessment and preparation, but they do not replace the underlying evidence. A summary or translation must not omit context that changes the meaning; CRR may ask for clarification or the original.

13. Assessment, Outcomes and Your Rights

Uploading documents does not guarantee that:

  • CRR will offer the paid service;
  • the evidence is sufficient;
  • the rental company will respond;
  • the outcome you seek will be achieved;
  • correspondence or discussions will result in a refund;
  • a court or other decision-maker would accept the evidence.

CRR may decline cases outside its scope or unsupported by available evidence, subject to the explanation and correction process above. Where a paid agreement exists, CRR’s obligations and your cancellation, refund and other statutory rights remain governed by that agreement and applicable law.

14. Relationship With Other Legal Documents

This declaration works together with:

This is an evidence declaration within the overall customer process, not a second paid-service contract. The free assessment remains free if you do not continue. The single Service Agreement is accepted after assessment; the optional paid service costs €35 in total, including any VAT we are legally required to charge, with this total disclosed before acceptance. Uploading does not accept that offer, trigger payment or waive withdrawal rights.

15. Acceptance

The confirmation in the existing upload or case-review process covers the following evidence responsibilities. This declaration does not add a separate signature, checkbox or screen:

  • you have read and understood this declaration;
  • to the best of your knowledge, your evidence is genuine and relevant, your own statements are accurate, and disputed or uncertain information and material edits are identified;
  • you are entitled to share it and have avoided unnecessary personal information;
  • you will report material errors and understand that unresolved evidence concerns may prevent CRR from continuing, subject to the safeguards above;
  • you understand that uploading does not guarantee acceptance or the outcome you seek;
  • you understand that this confirmation covers evidence responsibilities only and does not order the paid service, authorize sending or representation, or give optional processing consent.
