CarRentRight
Effective date: 27-10-2026 · Last updated: 27-10-2026
1. Company Information
This Case Intake & Data Processing Authorization is issued by:
Carentright OÜ
Registry code: 17481848
Registered address: Harju maakond, Tallinn, Lasnamäe linnaosa, Ruunaoja tn 3, 11415, Estonia
Email: support@carentright.com
Carentright OÜ operates CarRentRight (CRR) and is the controller of the personal data covered by this notice.
Our Privacy Policy explains our processing, service providers, retention and your rights. This document records the limited intake request described below.
2. Purpose of This Authorization
This document records your request for CRR to collect, record, store and review relevant information so that we can assess your car-rental case at no charge, whether or not you seek a monetary outcome.
The assessment is part of the overall CRR service. It remains free if you decide not to continue.
Your request covers:
- intake;
- case structuring;
- preliminary review;
- assessment;
- identifying the rental issue and the outcome you would like to achieve.
Confirming intake does not order paid work, authorize a charge, allow CRR to contact the rental company, give legal representation authority or permit publication of your case.
After reviewing the assessment and choosing to continue, you accept one service agreement covering the overall service and fee disclosure. The customer pays €35 in total, including any VAT we are legally required to charge; we show this total before acceptance. VAT is not added on top of €35. Any required early-start choice is recorded in that same acceptance process. The later payment email/link only collects the accepted amount. Paid case-building work (Case Builder), correspondence preparation and included resolution support begin after confirmed payment and satisfaction of the agreed start conditions.
3. Information Covered by This Authorization
For the intake and assessment you request, we process relevant information, which may include:
- your written description of what happened;
- rental company name;
- branch or location;
- country;
- reservation or contract details;
- dates of rental;
- amounts involved, if any;
- desired outcome;
- prior communications with the company;
- uploaded documents or supporting evidence;
- account and contact information;
- proportionate technical records, the notice version and your intake confirmation.
We use this information to create a structured case file. Necessary processing for your requested assessment is based on pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other purposes and applicable legal bases are explained in the Privacy Policy. This confirmation is not blanket GDPR consent; any consent-based optional use is presented separately.
4. Intake and Assessment Use
CRR uses relevant information to:
- understand the situation;
- identify whether a monetary outcome is requested and, if so, whether the amount is known;
- identify the rental issue type within the same car-rental case flow;
- identify missing information or documents;
- evaluate whether CRR may be able to assist;
- contact you about missing information and provide an assessment and, where appropriate, an offer of further support.
An intake chat does not approve paid handling. CRR's customer-facing assessment is subject to human review, and you can review and correct the case information.
5. AI-Assisted Case Structuring
Our online assessment chat uses Claude, provided by Anthropic, to help collect information and organise your case. The text you type or paste into the chat is sent to Anthropic for processing, including any case details or extracts from documents you include. The current chat integration does not send uploaded files to Anthropic. Uploaded files are stored separately for CRR’s review. We limit inputs to the information needed for the assessment.
These tools may assist with:
- summarizing your story;
- identifying relevant facts;
- detecting missing information;
- classifying the issue type;
- identifying whether you seek a monetary or non-monetary outcome;
- preparing a structured case file for assessment.
AI output can contain errors. It is not legal advice or a binding decision about your rights, and it does not guarantee an outcome.
A human reviews CRR's customer-facing assessment. You may correct an AI-generated summary and request human review. AI does not independently authorize payment or send messages on your behalf.
6. No Representation or Company Contact
This intake confirmation does not give CRR authority to:
- contact the rental company;
- negotiate with the rental company;
- provide legal representation;
- send demands or other correspondence on your behalf;
- accept or reject offers;
- refer your case to a law firm;
- start litigation;
- publish your identity, case documents or correspondence, or sell identifiable case information.
For new pilot cases, you review and send prepared correspondence yourself. CRR does not contact or negotiate with the rental company on your behalf. Lawyer referral and legal representation remain separate matters outside this intake request. Existing cases retain their original terms and instructions.
7. Data Retention and Abandoned Cases
Retention follows the periods and criteria in the Privacy Policy, including its handling of unnecessary identity-document copies. Completing intake does not permit indefinite retention. These limits also apply where:
- you do not complete the case flow;
- your case is later rejected;
- your case is incomplete;
- you choose not to proceed;
- additional information or documents are missing.
Only the records necessary for a documented purpose and applicable legal basis may be retained, such as:
- evidence of the intake request and relevant actions;
- material needed for a specific dispute or legal claim;
- proportionate fraud or security records;
- records needed to investigate misuse of the platform;
- limited service-quality review records where justified;
- evidence of particular consents and instructions, where applicable.
We delete or irreversibly anonymize data when its justified retention period ends, subject to the backup and legal-hold arrangements described in the Privacy Policy. Declining paid work does not authorize retaining the whole file for unrelated purposes.
8. User Responsibility
Provide information honestly and to the best of your knowledge. Identify estimates, uncertainty and missing documents, and tell us about material corrections.
Do not knowingly submit:
- false statements;
- fabricated facts;
- documents altered to misrepresent the evidence;
- misleading information;
- information you do not have the right to share.
Share only relevant information you are entitled to provide. Redact unnecessary identifiers, card details and unrelated third-party information. Do not upload identity documents unless specifically requested and necessary. Contact CRR before uploading health data or other highly sensitive material. Your confirmation does not provide consent on another adult's behalf or remove CRR's own data-protection duties. CRR may reject, suspend or close fraudulent, abusive or materially misleading submissions.
9. No Guarantee of Outcome
Submitting information through CRR does not guarantee:
- that CRR will accept your case;
- that prepared correspondence will receive a response;
- that the rental company will engage or agree with your case;
- that you will receive a refund, compensation, apology, voucher, or other remedy;
- that litigation will be available.
Any offer of further support depends on the facts, available evidence, CRR's assessment, operational capacity and applicable rules. You remain free to decline the paid service.
10. Relationship With Other Legal Documents
Read this intake notice alongside:
- Privacy Policy;
- Terms of Service & Service Agreement;
- the case-specific service summary supplied if we offer paid support.
Depending on the stage and requested action, the relevant records may also include:
- any monetary amount requested, the €35 total fee, any VAT included within that total and the amount accepted before payment;
- evidence responsibility declarations;
- your instructions about the outcome you want and correspondence prepared for you;
- separate optional consent for identifiable publication or marketing, if requested;
- independent lawyer referral or engagement documents, where applicable.
These notices and permissions support the single service agreement. Confirming intake does not accept the paid agreement, create a separate assessment purchase, authorize optional data use or request an early start to paid work.
11. Stopping the Assessment and Data Rights
You may ask us to stop the assessment at any time without an assessment fee. If you later accept the paid service, its cancellation and withdrawal rules are set out in the service agreement; stopping intake does not waive those rights.
You may also exercise your privacy rights as described in the CRR Privacy Policy, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability where applicable.
A request to stop or delete does not require immediate deletion of every record. Any continued retention must have a valid purpose, legal basis and limited period as explained in the Privacy Policy. Where processing relies on optional consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Send assessment and privacy requests to:
support@carentright.com.
12. Intake Confirmation
The intended pilot flow presents the Privacy Policy in the chat before you share your story and asks whether you want to continue with the free assessment. The remaining intake confirmations appear after Review, before submission, with this Intake Notice linked there. They cover the applicable Terms of Service, the request for free assessment and the outcome disclaimer. They do not repeat the chat privacy acknowledgement or order paid work.
- you have been shown the intake information and given access to the Privacy Policy and applicable website/intake terms;
- you request a free assessment and instruct CRR to record, store and evaluate relevant information for the limited purposes explained here;
- you understand that outcomes are not guaranteed, no payment is due for assessment, and paid work requires the later agreement and payment steps described above; you send the prepared correspondence yourself.
